Client: Walk N Roll

Project: Logo Design, Business Cards, and Decals

Date: Pre-2017

Ironjet was pleased to work on a visual identity development for the Walk n Roll food truck. The project included numerous items such as the logo, character illustration, business cards, and decals.

The character started out as a hand drawn sketch based on a supplied photo of the owner (who wanted to use a caricature as part of the logo). Instead of the traditional, goofy caricature style that’s so common at fairs, our artist took a modern, chic, borderless approach. Finished with soft, bright colours and a subtle polka dot texture, the Walk N Roll logo is quirky, fun, and feminine.

Ironjet refuses to use clip-art for logos, partly because it’s tacky and partly because it’s often illegal. You can read more here about the unethical practice of stealing another artist’s work, and how it puts your business at risk.

We also provided Walk N Roll with luxury business cards that have a spot UV (selective gloss) finish – the polka dots were done as tone-on-tone. The bright red food truck also received large decals, resulting in vehicle that looks like no other and which can be identified from blocks away!
