After completing the custom character illustration and logo for Diesel Up Transport, we produced a set of semi decals.

Our large format solvent machine prints to a variety of media, but in this case we used a cast vinyl that would be very durable. Our large format laminator added an extra layer of protection against wear and the sun’s rays.

These decals are what we refer to as “perimeter cut”, meaning the graphic is trimmed right up to the edge of the illustration in a custom shape (not a circle or rectangle). This allows the natural paint colour of the vehicle beneath to show through – a bit less necessary on white, but a nice touch anyhow.

The GVW tare decals comply with regulations and are perimeter cut from a spot black vinyl (not printed). This type of vinyl is pre-coloured and particularly durable so it doesn’t need to be laminated.
